"Bob Marley taught and inspired millions of people all around the world about cannabis, resistance, pride and Love." - Steve Deangelo (The Last Prisoner Project)

The Last Prisoner Project is deeply honored to have the support of Damian Marley & Stephen Marley joining the advisory board.
We’ll always strive to manifest the ethics and spirit embodied in the history and music of the Marley family legacy 🇯🇲 ✌🏼

THE MISSION

Imagine sitting in a cell for years, decades, or even for life, convicted of an activity that is no longer a crime, while thousands of other people build intergenerational wealth doing exactly the same thing.

That is the situation that over 40,000 cannabis prisoners face today in the United States alone, while countless others languish in jails and prisons worldwide. The Last Prisoner Project is a coalition of cannabis industry leaders, executives, and artists dedicated to bringing restorative justice to the cannabis industry.

The people who broke the law during prohibition aren’t criminals. They are heroes who had the courage to defy unjust laws and vicious enforcement to bring this sacred, healing plant to those who needed it. We, The Cannabis Tribe, must get them released— or live with the deep and everlasting shame of leaving our fallen on the battlefield. - Steve DeAngelo
